According to latest Meteorological & Hydrological conditions analyzed by Flood Forecasting Division Lahore, an active Monsoon weather system is likely to affect Sindh province which may cause fairly widespread thunderstorm / rain of moderate intensity with heavy falls at isolated places and very heavy falls at some places during next 4-5 days.
Urban flooding is expected in main cities including Karachi during the period.
Scattered thunderstorm of moderate intensity with isolated heavy falls is also expected in Balochistan especially northeast central and coastal Balochistan which may also cause flooding in local nullahs and rivers.
In view of above, it is requested that all concerned should be cautioned / forewarned to take all necessary precautionary measures to avoid any loss of lives and damage to public as well as private property.
