Torrential rains and floods in the Chitral district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) have left 36 dead. Up to 350 villages have been damaged in the province of Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa and 422 in Punjab affecting an overall population of 250 000 due to floods.
Heavy rain in Sindh has resulted in over 800 villages being inundated affecting over 144 000 people and destroying thousands of acres of sugarcane and other crops. Over 7 000 people have evacuated to flood relief camps.
