On 5th March, 2018, Afghan Red Crescent Society’s (ARCS) Secretary General, Dr. Nilab Mobarez; ARCS Disaster Management Department Head, Mr. Abdul Rahman Kalantari; ARCS’s West Regional Office Head, ARCS Herat Provincial Branch Head, and Italy Project Representatives were observing the optimal distribution of relief items to 300 families who have repatriated from Iran and Pakistan countries to Herat province.
“Afghan Red Crescent Society does its utmost to assist you properly.” ARCS Secretary General welcomed the families and said, “ARCS’s purpose is to take care of the most vulnerable population throughout Afghanistan.”
ARCS Secretary General added that Afghan Red Crescent Society is well prepared and has comprehensive practical plans to provide relief items and render services to families and population who are repatriated or affected from man-made and natural disasters.
Each family has received 7 blankets, 2 water cans, one kitchen-cooking set and 2 tarpaulins that are donated by Italy Project.
The beneficiaries highly appreciated ARCS’s attention and relief items optimal distribution to vulnerable population in Herat province.
