Rivers Flow Situation Reported by Flood Forecasting Division. All rivers are flowing at Normal Level except River Jhelum at Mangla and River Chenab at Marala which are at low to medium and River Indus at Tarbela, Kalabagh & Chashma, River Kabul at Nowshera and River Chenab at Khanki which are at low. Past Meteorological Situation and Future Forecast by PMD. Significant rainfalls reported in last 24 hours at Gujrat 138 mm, Sialkot 113 mm, Gujranwala 107 mm, Marala 95 mm,
Islamabad 78 mm, Tarbela 71 mm, Daggar 64 mm, Jhelum 58 mm, Palku 49 mm and Mianwali 47 mm. Forecast for next 24 hours predicts Scattered Wind-thundershowers / Rain with heavy falls at isolated places are expected over Islamabad, Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, FATA Northeast Balochistan, Kashmir & Gilgit Baltistan. a. Due to heavy rains flash flooding was reported in District Zhob, Balochistan on 11 July 2017. 2 x deaths have been reported. Dead bodies have been recovered from flood stream.
b. Due to rains 1 x house collapsed has been reported in District Gujranwala, Punjab.
Resultantly, 3 x deaths and 1 x injured have been reported.c. Due to heavy rains in Tehsil Kundi Soka Ghazi, District Haripur on 12 July 2017 at 0800 hours, a vehicle fell into River Indus. Resultantly, 2 x deaths have been reported. Rescue operation is underway to recover dead bodies.
Road Situation (NHA and Respective Provinces). All roads across the Country are clear for all types of traffic.
Railway Situation. All railway routes are clear for traffic.
Preliminary Losses / Damages Reported.
a. 7 x death, 1 x injured and 1 x house fully damaged was reported in last 24 hours.

Any Critical Activity to Report. Nothing to Report.
NDMA Recommendation. Heavy rainfalls are expected from 12th to 13th July 2017. All concerned departments are advised to remain on High Alert during the period and ensure following necessary actions:-b. Ensure clearance of sewerage / drainage system in all major cities including Karachi, Rawalpindi, Lahore, Multan, Quetta & Peshawar by all stakeholders.
b. Issuing repeated Alerts to people residing in / close to river plains / water courses.
c. Raising awareness to public with regards to vacating dangerous buildings, remaining away from electric wires and avoid swimming during rain especially in underpasses.
d. Advising vulnerable population not to venture into nullahs / flash flooding routes.
e. NHA, FWO and C&W Depts of respective Provinces / Regions may please remain vigilant in restoring road linkages.
f. NIH / NHEPRN to advise all provincial Health departments about pre-placement of necessary staff and medicines where required.
