Highlights

There were slight to significant fluctuations in the prices of non‐cereal food commodities compared to the previous month, with the price of live chicken and pulse Dal Mash significantly decreased by 7.1% and 6.7%, respectively;
In January 2017, the average Terms of Trade (ToT) decreased negligibly from the previous month;
In February 2017, the total global wheat production for 2016‐2017 is projected at 748.2 million MT,showing a reduction of 4.5 million MT compared to the projection made last month.
