HIGHLIGHTS AND STATISTICS
Authorities, UNHCR, and partners encountered around 6,400 refugees, asylum-seekers and migrants. 5,351 (i.e. 83%) were accommodated in thirteen governmental facilities (see chart), while the remainder were counted sleeping rough in Belgrade City centre or at the border with Hungary.
Supporting access to better accommodation and services, UNHCR and partners assisted 64 newly registered asylum seekers with transport from Belgrade city centre to Presevo and Dimitrovgrad Reception Centres.
Supporting authorities in winterisation and body-lice treatments, UNHCR and partners continued distributing non-food items, including 585 bed linen sets, over 110 UNHCR blankets, and several hundred items of winter clothing and underwear for children and adults across the country.
