Young Sheedi Welfare Organization (YSWO); as a silver-lining, of hope for betterment, socioeconomic change and human development, emerged on August 7 th, 1987 under the unflinching, dedicated leadership and patronage of Mr. Faiz Mohammad Bilali. The organization was under same name was registered in 1989 with social welfare department Government of Sindh, under social voluntary organizations act 1961. YSWO has always endeavoured to provide relief service in case of emergency. The organization believes in providing relief services irrespective of cast, colour, and religion. YSWO is working on emergency since 1994 with different International Donors working in Badin.
Badin district is situated between latitude 24o 13’ to 25o 12’ North and longitude 68o 21’ to 69o 20’ East. The district is bounded in the north by Hyderabad, in the east by Mirpurkhas and Tharparkar districts, in the south by the Arabian Sea and Rann of Kutch, which also forms the international boundary with India, and in the west it borders Thatta and Hyderabad districts. The total area of the district is 6,527 square kilometres and the district consists of five talukas, namely: Badin, Matli, Tando Bago, Golarchi and Talhar. With the introduction of the Devolution System, the talukas have been sub-divided into 46 union councils, 109 tapas and 511 dehs. Badin has a mild climate. Rainfall is highly erratic and unpredictable with an average rainfall of 258.8 mm.
